Shrewsbury V Liverpool: FA Cup Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to select a youthful-looking team when the Reds travel to New Meadow tomorrow for their FA Cup clash against Shrewsbury Town.

The cup tie is sandwiched between two tricky away games at Wolves and West Ham with the Hammers clash being played on Wednesday night. It leaves very little time for the senior players to recover from their intense win at Molineux on Thursday.

Klopp will be without Sadio Mane (thigh), James Milner (thigh), Xherdan Shaqiri (calf) and Nathaniel Clyne (knee). Adam Lallana (illness) and Naby Keita (groin) are doubts but Dejan Lovren (thigh) should be back in contention to play.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face Shrewsbury:

Adrian, Williams, Matip, Lovren, Larouci, Chirivella, Fabinho, Jones, Elliot, Minamino, Origi

The Shrews are still without Romain Vincelot and Ryan Sears while Scott Golbourne will face a late fitness test ahead of tomorrow’s match.

Shrewsbury’s Predicted XI

O’Leary, Love, Williams, Ebanks-Landell, Pierre, Golbourne, Norburn, Laurent, Whalley, Lang, Edwards

The bookies have Liverpool as the heavy favourites with Betway pricing them at 17/40. A draw is 9/2 with Bet 365 while a Shrewsbury victory is 13/2 at BetVictor.

Predicted Score – 2-1 to Liverpool
