“Sometimes You Have To Say Things Face To Face” Mane Reveals Heart To Heart With Liverpool Teammate

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has revealed that he did have a conversation with Mo Salah after the 3-0 win against Burnley earlier this month.

Mane looked exasperated when substituted in the victory at Turf Moor, with the 27-year-old not happy with his teammate’s failure to pass to him when he was free in the box. Asked about the incident recently, the Senegalese forward said:

“With Salah? It’s forgotten. Sometimes you have to say things face to face. These are things that happen in football, sometimes it happens that I am not given the pass. But we have reconciled and become the good friends we were before.”

With both players getting on the scoresheet against Newcastle at the weekend, there was certainly nothing to complain about for either player following the game.

Whatever was said between the pair, hopefully, it will help the team continue their excellent start to the season when they face Napoli in the Champions League next up.

The Reds lost 1-0 the last time they played the Serie A side in Italy. The Merseysiders were ineffective in the final third of the pitch and the likes Mane and Salah will be keen to address that tomorrow night.
