Salah’s absence this weekend will be a massive blow to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp who already has a very lengthy injury list.
The likes of Jordan Henderson (hamstring), Thiago Alcantara (knee), Rhys Williams (hip) and Fabinho (hamstring) are all doubts for this weekend’s game while Joe Gomez (knee), Trent Alexander-Arnold (calf), Virgil van Dijk and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (both knee) are all unavailable.
The run up to Christmas could well be one of the most difficult periods in Klopp’s reign in charge, considering the number of games and the absence of so many key first-team players.
