Struggling Turkish Giants Eye January Loan Deal For Out Of Favour Liverpool Star

Fenerbahce are looking to sign Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana on loan for the rest of the season, according to reports in Turkey.

The Yellow Canaries’ pursuit of the 30-year-old is being led by former Reds Director of Football Damien Comolli.

The Frenchman is currently Sporting Director at the Turkish club and is looking for new recruits to strengthen the squad after a disastrous first half of the season.

Fenerbahce are currently second from bottom of the Super Lig table and are in a battle against relegation.

Whether Lallana would be interested in moving to Turkey to join a struggling team, it remains to be seen. The England international has only made three starts under manager Jurgen Klopp this season, having made just eight appearances in total.

He has struggled with injuries over the past two years. A groin strain hampered his return to the first team fold at the beginning of the campaign, having missed the majority of last season with a succession of hamstring injuries.
