Liverpool midfielder Fabinho still remains on crutches and wearing a protective boot eighteen days after sustaining his ankle injury in the 1-1 draw against Napoli last month.
A picture of the Brazilian attending yesterday’s 2-0 win against Watford has got many fans on Twitter concerned that the 26-year-old will not be returning to first-team action in January as expected:

Liverpool were deliberately very vague about how long Fabinho would be out for, with the club saying only that he would be out of action until the New Year.
Although the Reds are still winning in the Brazilian international’s absence, there is no doubt that the protection he provides to the team’s defence is being missed.
Watford created a host of chances despite losing 2-0 at Anfield yesterday, and it will be a concern for manager Jurgen Klopp going forward into a packed fixture schedule. Supporters will be keeping their fingers crossed that Fabinho makes a speedy recovery.
