‘That Save Was Unreal’ ‘Best Player For Us On The Night’ Fans On Social Media Hail Liverpool Star Despite Napoli Loss
Liverpool goalkeeper Adrian took to Twitter this morning to react to the Reds’ 2-0 defeat to Napoli in the Champions League last night.
The Spaniard was disappointed with the result but he wants the team to make sure they get back on their feet as quickly as possible when they face Chelsea this weekend:

Adrian was certainly one of the standout performers on the night but he wasn’t particularly busy in goal despite the defeat. Liverpool were on top for large spells of the game but failed to make the most of their openings.
The Reds are still favourites to qualify despite the loss, with Salzburg and Genk not likely to put up as strong resistance in the other group games. It was certainly not, though, the ideal start for the Merseysiders.
