Liverpool are among a number of Premier League teams interested in Red Bull Salzburg striker Patson Daka, according to reports in Austria.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Manchester City are also thought to be tracking the 22-year-old, with the forward set to be sold for around €20m (£17m) this summer.
Considering Daka has scored 27 goals in all competitions for Salzburg this season, a lot of supporters on Twitter think it would be a very good piece of business:
That’s grocery money bro ? him being a red too, if we somehow miss out on him man…

Thing is, they've a conveyor belt of talent there, so Koita or Adeyemi will just take his minutes, so that price probably isn't too far off what he'd cost.

If he really is that price. I would want him and another striker, as Origi will be going

we could sign him and still sign another attacker, that’s a bargain for someone who is producing good numbers

Could see klopp and edwards going for him instead of a already wc striker, huge potential and a natural goalscorer klopp could turn him into a top player

The player is keen on joining Liverpool it's just a question if Klopp wants him.

Daka’s former coach has previously mentioned that the player supports Liverpool so that would hand the Reds an advantage in the race to sign him if they do make a formal offer for the Zambian international.
The Merseyside club are believed to be very interested in bringing in another striker at the end of the season but we shall have to wait and see whether Daka turns out to be their number one target.
