Liverpool fans don’t need to be told how good Roberto Firmino is but the Brazilian showed once again what he can do with a sublime Rabona pass to Sadio Mane in the first half of the Reds’ 4-1 win over Genk last night.
The forward did not get on the scoresheet but his influence on the game was telling, receiving the ball in pockets of space and delivering passes to both Mane and Mohamed Salah.
Supporters on Twitter were praising Firmino’s skill and audacity:

To have both the skill and the vision to pull it off shows what a quality player the Brazilian international is. For much of his time at Anfield, pundits have been saying what an underrated player he is, but I think it is safe to say that he is very much a player that most fans would want in their team.
Firmino may only have three goals so far this campaign, but his eight assists demonstrate what an outstanding all round player he is.
