It remains to be seen whether Reds boss Jurgen Klopp will pick Thiago in the starting eleven for the game at Goodison Park. Captain Jordan Henderson has also returned to full fitness so there are a number of different options available to the manager.
Considering what the Spanish international brings to the table, though, it will be difficult to leave the midfielder out of the eleven. He could well have a vital role to play in Liverpool winning yet another derby this weekend.
