Liverpool remain in contention to sign Brescia holding midfielder Sandro Tonali, according to reports in the Italian media.
Inter Milan are said to be in the driving seat for the 19-year-old after reportedly tabling a €35m (£30m) bid but the Reds are believed to be still in the running for the Italian international.
Fans on Twitter think the Merseyside club should do all they can to sign Tonali:

Brescia were originally looking to sell Tonali for €50m but that asking price is likely to have dropped significantly because of the financial impact caused by the ongoing health crisis.
The midfielder has been hailed as one of the most promising young talents in Italy, and he has also been linked with the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United. It seems logical that Liverpool would at least be keeping tabs on his situation.
Tonali is still a teenager and could be available for a reasonable fee; both of which match Liverpool’s criteria for signing players. We shall have to wait and see whether the Reds’ Director of Football Michael Edwards makes a move for the player.
