Liverpool are preparing an £80m summer bid for Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele, according to reports in the Catalan media.
The Frenchman has suffered four major injuries since arriving from Borussia Dortmund for £100m in August 2017. Dembele has also managed to play just 74 games during a three year period and he is currently sidelined with a hamstring problem which has plagued him for most of the season.
Fans on Twitter are not in favour of the Reds paying such a sizeable sum for an injury-prone player:

Players who have pace like Dembele do suffer with hamstring problems, in particular, and the question would be whether manager Jurgen Klopp believes he is worth the gamble.
Liverpool do have a very good medical department and sports science team, and it would depend on their expertise to keep the 22-year-old fit. If they can, it would be an excellent signing but that is a very big ‘if.’
