“The Potential For This Kid, It Is Scary” Roy Keane Hails 18 Year Old Who Is Being Watched By Liverpool

Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane has praised Jude Bellingham after his performance in England’s 10-0 win over San Marino last night.

The Borussia Dortmund teenager, who has been linked with moves to Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City, made only his third start for his country yesterday but Keane was very impressed with what he saw from the 18-year-old:

“What he’s doing on the pitch. The way he speaks off of it. He’s playing week in, week out for his club. The potential for this kid, it is scary. I saw him recently playing for Dortmund in a Champions League game and he was producing passes where I was like I didn’t think he had that in his locker just yet.”

Bellingham has also been in great form at club level so far this campaign, having scored three goals and provided seven assists in 18 appearances for Dortmund.

The sky really is the limit for the midfielder, as Keane himself points out, and it isn’t a surprise that Liverpool and other big European clubs are keeping tabs on him.

Whether the Merseyside club will be able to afford Bellingham, it is debatable. Reports suggest that Dortmund would be reluctant to let the England international leave next summer, and a price tag of between £80m and £100m would probably put him out of reach for the Reds.
