“There Has Been No Offer, But There Has Been Interest” La Liga Star Speaks Out On Future Amid Liverpool Rumours

Valencia midfielder Carlos Soler says he is aware of interest from other clubs. Liverpool were linked with the 24-year-old in the Spanish press earlier this week, although there were doubts about the story’s reliability.

When asked about his future, Soler said that there had been no formal bid made for him but his representatives had received enquiries from certain teams:

“As far as I know there has been no offer, but there has been interest, although this is taken by my agents.”

Soler did not go into detail about which clubs were keen on signing him, but the likes of Arsenal have also been mentioned as potential suitors in the past, with manager Mikel Arteta thought to be a big fan of the player.

The Spaniard has been in extremely impressive form so far this season, scoring three goals in three league appearances for Valencia. He also made his debut at international level earlier this month.

Soler started and scored in the 2-1 defeat to Sweden, and followed that up with another goal in the 4-0 win over Georgia. He has featured in all three World Cup qualifiers over the past week.
