Liverpool are reportedly set to scout Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk next month as they weigh up a potential bid for the player.
The 21-year-old, who has been labelled the “Ukrainian Neymar” by some sections of the press, has also been linked with Arsenal and Everton in recent weeks.
Supporters on Twitter are very much split on whether the Reds need another forward like Mudryk, who would compete with Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota for a place on the left flank:

With it being claimed that Shakhtar may demand as much as €50m (£44m) for the Ukrainian international, it would be a very expensive outlay on a player who hasn’t proven himself in a high-profile European league.
Considering the left wing isn’t really an area that needs to be strengthened, you would have to say spending that much on Mudryk may not be the best use of transfer funds. Improving the midfield should be the top priority.
