Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that centre-back Ozan Kabak is a major doubt for Sunday’s game against Fulham.
The Turkish international played the full 90 minutes in the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea last night but, in his pre-match press conference today, Klopp revealed the defender has suffered a “small” injury.
Considering the lengthy list of injuries to centre-halves, supporters on Twitter can scarcely believe that yet another player has been sidelined:
This season is a joke

Is this normal ? The rate and amount of injuries we have ? Is there something wrong with our fitness trainers or something ??!

Didn't miss one game for 04 (Well, apart from the ones he was suspended for) comes here and is injured within a month. Wtf is going on behind the scenes?

It seems likely that there could be a TWENTIETH centre-back pairing when they line up versus Fulham this weekend. Nat Phillips has recovered from a minor knock that kept him out of the defeat to Chelsea. The 23-year-old may be asked to partner Fabinho, although Klopp also mentioned Ben Davies is available so it may be a good chance to hand the January signing his debut.
Considering the issues that the Reds have encountered in recent weeks, most fans will be glad when this season is over.
