Liverpool are considering making a move for PSV Eindhoven forward Donyell Malen in the summer, according to reports in the Italian media.
The Dutchman is being looked at by a number of teams but the Reds are also believed to be weighing up a potential €30m (£26m) bid for the former Arsenal academy graduate.
Malen has scored 23 goals in all competitions this season, and he is a player known for his pace. However, supporters on Twitter are not convinced that the Netherlands international would be the right signing:

I’d prefer Daka but I’d welcome any player more efficient than Firmino. We desperately need a striker.

No ways we dealing with Mino Rioala smokescreen for Daka or El Neysri from Sevilla

The Dutchman is 22 years of age and can play right across the frontline. Combined with his speed, he does look like the type of player that manager Jurgen Klopp can mould into a top talent.
If Malen is available for £26m, it may be seen as an opportunity too good to turn down by the Reds. We shall see if sporting director Michael Edwards make his move in the summer.
