Conor Bradley is not close to a return either, and both the Northern Ireland international and Frimpong appear to be injury-prone.
Feyenoord’s Givairo Read has been linked with Liverpool pretty recently, and he could be available for around €30m (£26m). He was also handed his first-team debut by Slot, so the Reds head coach knows him well.
