Liverpool fans have been left ecstatic this week after the news broke that they had agreed a fee with Roma over the transfer of goalkeeper Allison.
The Brazilian stopper will cost the Reds a reported £67m, smashing the previous record for a fee paid for a goalkeeper.
The 25-year-old has been at Roma for two years, playing 37 Serie A games last season and making his name as one of the best goalkeeper’s in the world.
He starred between the sticks for Brazil during this summer’s World Cup, and rightly earned his move to Anfield which will now make Klopp’s men one of the favourites for the title next season.
Liverpool have had an extremely successful transfer window so far this summer, and should Allison’s medical go to plan he will be expected to jump straight into the No.1 spot ahead of Loris Karius.
As expected, Twitter has gone absolutely mental at the prospect of the Premier League welcoming yet another world class talent, here’s some of the highlights:

In talks with Lyon for Nabil Fekir ? ??
Signed Fabinho, Shaqiri and Keita ✅?
Agreed long term contracts with Salah and Firmino ? with Mańe pending ??

Allison is obviously very overpriced in the general market but his value to Liverpool is what they're paying. They really need a new Goalkeeper and this should elevate them to challengers next season. Surely that's worth overpaying for?

When Liverpool land Allison, they will have spent net £136m in 3 years.
Once we have sold players & even bought Fekir this will be estimated net with Fekir £150m
Jose in 3 years has spent over £400m & Conte at Chelsea £125m in 2 years.
No one can complain about our spend
