Liverpool are keen on signing Barcelona defender Jules Kounde, according to speculative reports in the Catalan media.
The Frenchman has played down claims that he is unsettled at the Camp Nou, but there has been a lot of talk that he could leave Spain after just one season due to the fact that he is being played out of position.
Both Chelsea and Manchester United have been credited with an interest in Kounde but, with Liverpool now being added to the mix, fans on Twitter have been discussing the possibility that he could end up at Anfield:
Unexpected but I’d take him, can play RB too

It’s wise to take these claims about Kounde with a very large pinch of salt. The centre-back would cost around €60m (£52m), and he would probably have a number of Champions League clubs as potential suitors if he were to leave Barca.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are prioritising moves for midfielders anyway, so supporters shouldn’t get their hopes up that Kounde will join the Reds.
