“Very Frustrated” Liverpool On Alert As Chelsea Star Speaks Out About Lack Of Game Time

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has expressed his disappointment about being dropped for the Blues’ last two matches against Fulham and Real Madrid.

The 22-year-old had been given a run of games in the side by manager Thomas Tuchel recently but his latest omission from the starting lineup led to the player speaking out about his lack of minutes:

“Very frustrated. Yeah not much else to say. I wanted to play from the beginning as I always do. I’ve had to continue to prove myself over and over again. But as always I just reach out to God and He gives me strength. With that behind me nothing can stop me really.”

Back in March, it was reported that Liverpool and Manchester United were keeping tabs on the American international, and Pulisic’s latest remarks will only increase speculation about his future.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is known to be a big fan of the winger, having seen him come through the ranks at Borussia Dortmund during his time as manager of the Bundesliga side.

However, it must be said that Chelsea would be very reluctant to allow Pulisic to leave for a direct rival, even if he were to be made available for transfer at the end of the season.
