Liverpool and Chelsea are the two English clubs who are likely to go head to head with Real Madrid for Jude Bellingham, according to AS.

The Spanish publication claims that both Premier League teams remain “very interested” in the Borussia Dortmund star, who seems to be very tempted by a switch to the Premier League.

Bellingham is believed to be “torn” between moving to the Bernabeu or returning to England, with there currently being no indication as to who is the favorite for the player’s signature.

Dortmund remain adamant that the 19-year-old won’t leave for less than €150m (£129m), but Real are not expected to go any higher than €100m (£85m), and it remains to be seen whether Liverpool would be prepared to match the midfielder’s valuation.

The Reds desperately need to refresh their options in the middle of the park after a terrible start to the season but their chances of signing the player will be diminished if they do miss out on the top four. Bellingham is not expected to make a decision until the summer so we shall see if the situation changes in the coming months.
