Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson is believed to be a doubt for this evening’s match against Arsenal after not training over the weekend due to an unspecified fitness issue.
The Brazilian international missed 14 matches last season due to calf and hip injuries and fans on Twitter are becoming increasingly concerned with the shot-stopper’s injury record, especially as they don’t trust Adrian as his backup:

It will be a blow for the Reds if Alisson is sidelined for such an important match. With Manchester City having already lost their first game of the season, manager Jurgen Klopp will want to capitalise by picking up another three points.
However, the Brazilian’s absence would certainly reduce the chances of that happening. Adrian has put in some decent performances for Liverpool over the past twelve months, most notably in UEFA Super Cup, but his mistakes in the defeats to Chelsea and Atletico Madrid earlier this year directly led to the Reds crashing out of both the FA Cup and the Champions League. If he starts tonight, supporters will be hoping he has a good game.
