Fluminense midfielder Andre has “verbally agreed personal terms” with Liverpool, according to journalist Francois Plateau.
The Reds have been heavily linked with the Brazilian international in recent months and Plateau claims progress has been made on a move ahead of the January transfer window:
Confirmed: André Trindade has verbally agreed personal terms with Liverpool.

Plateau did go on to emphasise that Arsenal and a “handful” of teams in Spain and Italy have made enquiries for Andre too but it hasn’t stopped some Liverpool fans on X getting hyped about the player making the switch to Anfield:
We are winning the league 🙌🙌

Liverpool appear to be in the driving seat to sign Andre
While it looks as if any agreement with Fluminense will have to wait until after the Brazilian club play in the Copa Libertadores final, the Reds have seemingly made progress on the player side already.
It doesn’t mean that Andre is guaranteed to make the switch to Merseyside, as other clubs could still hijack the deal, but the Reds have put themselves in a good position.
How much will Andre cost Liverpool?
Reports in the Brazilian press suggest that Jurgen Klopp’s side were prepared to pay around €30m (£26m) for the midfielder in the summer.
With interest from other teams increasing, Fluminense’s valuation could rise, but it’s unlikely that the Reds will be priced out of the deal. We shall see if a move is finalised over the coming weeks.
