Liverpool are expected to join West Ham and Wolves in the battle to sign Bristol City midfielder Alex Scott, according to reports in the English media.
The Reds are looking to completely revamp their options in the middle of the park this summer and Scott has been identified as a possible target.
Fans on Twitter have heard good things about Scott and the majority would back a bid for the teenager when the transfer window reopens:
he plays really good w/ both legs, we need that kind of player

He had City on strings. Dribbling like Messi and workrate of Gini. Amazing player. Would be complete bargain and he would be homegrown. He can play dm, cm and cam.

Scott is only 19 but Bristol City rate him so highly that they will reportedly demand around £25m for the player. Whether Liverpool would consider paying that much for him, it is open for debate.
The midfielder has been a regular starter for the Robins in the Championship over the past two seasons, and he is an England Under 20 international. However, he is untested at the highest level and a lot depends on how highly he is rated by the club’s recruitment team.
