Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson did not take any part in training before the Reds flew out to Italy for the Champions League group stage match against Napoli.
The Reds have confirmed that the Scottish international has a knock and that the club’s medical staff are assessing the player ahead of tonight’s game. Fans on Twitter are keeping their finger’s crossed that he’ll be able to start:

Manager Jurgen Klopp may look to start James Milner on the left-hand side in his absence but it still leaves some question marks as to why Liverpool did not find a replacement when Alberto Moreno left in the summer.
Robertson was ever-present in the side last season but the club shouldn’t really be relying on players staying fit right throughout the season.
Both Milner and Joe Gomez can do a job in the position but both are naturally right-footed and can’t provide the same attacking threat that Robertson offers. Supporters will be hoping he is fit to start tonight.
