Liverpool should have James Milner back in the fold for Friday evening’s game against Wolves.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (foot) is closing in on a return to full fitness with manager Jurgen Klopp stating that the Wolves game may come too early for him, but he’s likely to be back to face Newcastle on Boxing Day.

Joe Matip (broken collarbone), Joe Gomez (fractured leg) and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain (knee) remain out for the long-term.

Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo has just one injury concern. Diogo Jota limped off at halftime during the 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday with a hamstring problem and will have a late fitness test ahead of the game against Liverpool.
