Liverpool forward Mo Salah scored his 49th and 50th goals for the Reds in the 4-0 thumping of Red Star Belgrade last night.
In the process, the Egyptian international became the fastest player in the Merseyside team’s history to reach 50 goals for the club.
Fans on Twitter were full of praise for Salah:

On signing for the club from Roma last summer, no one would have predicted the impact that the 26-year-old would go on to make.
Many believed him to be a fast, tricky winger, who could contribute goals and assists, but Jurgen Klopp has helped transform the Egyptian into a prolific forward.
Some questioned his slow start to his second season in a Liverpool shirt, but it seems his appetite for goals remains. He has reached 50 in just 65 appearances; faster than Anfield legend Roger Hunt and a host of other star names like Fernando Torres, Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen and Ian Rush.
