Liverpool are expected to hold talks with the representatives of AC Milan’s Ismael Bennacer in a “couple of weeks”, according to Relevo reporter Matteo Moretto.
The journalist claims the Reds are aiming to sign two to three midfielders, and the Algerian international is one of the players they are considering:

Bennacer has also been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea recently, and fans on Twitter are very much backing a move for the 25-year-old:

It should be pointed out that Bennacer is also in talks with Milan over a contract extension. His current deal expires in 2024 so it’s probably wise to be cautious about these reports.
The player’s agent may well be using the Reds’ interest in order to get a better deal for his client. However, if Bennacer is keen on a switch to Anfield, and the Merseyside club can agree a deal with Milan, he could be an excellent addition to the squad.
