‘An Absolute No-Brainer’ – Liverpool Fans On Social Media Speculate On Bargain Deal For French Midfield General

Anfield Stadium

Liverpool have been linked with Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot over the past few months, and reports in the French media in recent days suggest that the Reds have held several meetings with the player.

However, the Merseysiders are not the only team in the race for the 23-year-old, who is now able to talk to foreign clubs as he enters the last six months of his contract at PSG.

Barcelona and Arsenal are also said to be in the race for Rabiot, with the Catalan club reportedly the favourites for the midfield general. Barca did, though, put out a statement denying they had agreed a deal with the Frenchman.

Reds supporters on Twitter think Rabiot would be good signing if the club can secure him on a free transfer in the summer:

Despite Barcelona’s denial that they have an agreement with Rabiot, the odds are still in favour of the France international moving to the Camp Nou rather than to England.

Yet, the financial pull of the Premier League may prove tempting for the PSG star, and we shall see how the situation unfolds in the coming weeks and months.
