Championship Side Planning January Swoop As They Look To Beat Liverpool For Arsenal Wonderkid

Swansea City have made an enquiry about signing Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun during the January transfer window, according to reports in England.

Liverpool are said to be keeping close tabs on the 19-year-old, who could leave the Gunners at the end of the season when his current contract expires.

Balogun is reportedly keen to stay at the Emirates but, with no new deal close to being agreed, it seems Swansea are taking the chance that Arsenal will look to sell this month in order to get a higher fee for the teenager.

The London club will be due compensation even if he leaves in the summer and it’s likely that they will try everything they can to keep the young talented forward at the club.

However, if the Gunners refuse to sell Balogun in January, and he doesn’t put pen to paper on a new contract, Liverpool could still snap him up.
