Don Hutchinson Delivers His Verdict On Whether Liverpool Will Make Sensational Move For 606K p/w Superstar

Ex-Liverpool forward Don Hutchinson says his former club are not likely to sanction a move for Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar this summer.

The Brazilian international has been offered to clubs in England, including Chelsea, with PSG keen to get the forward (who earns £606,000 a week) off their books. However, Hutchinson feels that he wouldn’t fit into the Reds’ style of play:

“You look at the top four teams outside of England, no-one can afford him. Then there are teams like Liverpool, who don’t really want him because he wouldn’t fit into their system.”

Hutchinson is bang on the money with his assessment. Without even considering Neymar’s transfer fee, wage demands or agent commissions, he simply wouldn’t be compatible with Jurgen Klopp’s team ethos.

On top of the fact that he is already 30 years of age, it would be very out of character for both Klopp and the Reds’ recruitment team if they were interested in the Brazilian.

To be honest with you, this transfer has Manchester United written all over it, especially if Cristiano Ronaldo does leave Old Trafford in the coming weeks.
