Former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas says Jurgen Klopp deserves massive credit for the way he has transformed Liverpool during his time in charge at Anfield.
The Reds are, remarkably, still on for the quadruple, with the 2-0 win over Everton yesterday keeping them in touching distance with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table. Fabregas believes Klopp has done wonders in terms of building a team that can challenge Pep Guardiola’s side:
Even though they are competing vs one of the best teams in the last few years in Man City, it must be so exciting being a Liverpool fan the last couple of years. What Klopp has created around the club it’s actually amazing and you can feel the energy in every game. A role model.

Since losing the Champions League final in 2018, Liverpool have really been a cut above every team in England, with the exception of City. While injuries put pay to their chances of challenging for honours last campaign, they have rebounded spectacularly this season, and you have to hand it to Klopp for creating a squad capable of winning every competition.
With the German expected to leave when his contract expires in 2024, Reds supporters should be cherishing every moment under the legendary manager.
