Fiorentina Make Big Decision On Sofyan Amrabat’s Future As Liverpool, Spurs And Chelsea Circle

Fiorentina will trigger their option to extend Sofyan Amrabat‘s contract for an additional year, according to reports in the Italian media.

The Moroccan international has eighteen months remaining on his current deal but the Viola are set to protect the value of their player by extending his stay until 2025.

Amrabat has been linked with Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea, West Ham, Newcastle and Atletico Madrid in recent days, after an outstanding World Cup, but it appears Fiorentina will hold out for a substantial figure when the transfer window reopens.

The Reds will be in the market for a midfielder next month, although there are doubts over whether they will be prepared to pay a sizeable fee, considering they are lining up a colossal bid for Jude Bellingham next summer.

Fiorentina’s latest decision, combined with competition for his signature, may well price Jurgen Klopp’s side out of a move for Amrabat, but we shall see how this transfer story develops.
