Fulham V Liverpool: Match Preview, Team News And Betting Odds

Anfield Stadium

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Diogo Jota (knock) and Kosta Tsimikas (knee) could be missing from the squad for the game against Fulham on Sunday.

Both players sustained the injuries in the Champions League dead rubber versus FC Midtjylland on Wednesday night and were substituted in the second half.

There is some better news on the injury front, though, with goalkeeper Alisson Becker expected to be fit for the trip to Craven Cottage if he comes through a training session today. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is also back in contention after a knee problem.

James Milner (hamstring), Xherdan Shaqiri (muscular), Thiago Alcantara, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk (all knee) won’t be available for the match this weekend.

Fulham boss Scott Parker only has two players currently sidelined. Kenny Tete needs more match fitness before being considered for selection while Terence Kongolo is recovering from a calf injury.

The bookmakers have made Liverpool heavy favourites for the game with BetVictor pricing them at 4/11 for the win. A draw is 5/1 with Betfair while a Fulham victory is 8/1 at Sky Bet.

Predicted Score – 2-1 to Liverpool
