‘He’s Exactly The Player We Need’ ‘Injury Record Looks Crazy’ Fans Discuss Reports That Liverpool Could Bid For 25M Rated Midfielder
Liverpool are interested in signing RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer, according to reports in the German media.
The Austrian international has less than a year left on his contract and he could be sold before the transfer window closes if a team is prepared to pay around €30m (£25m).
Laimer has also been tracked by other Premier League teams (including Manchester United and Chelsea), while Bayern Munich have already made a bid for him this summer. However, supporters on Twitter are very much split on whether the Reds should pursue the player, with some questioning his fitness record:

No brainer for me. As we attack through the right side more – I have no stat to show for this claim, it's just what I felt, Laimer with Trent and Salah – and Elliot – on the right will help let free Trent and Salah – Liverpool's most prolific creator and scorer.

If we look at the injuries that Laimer has picked up in recent years, there shouldn’t really be any cause for concern. The most serious one he has had is a broken ankle which kept him out for most of the 2020/21 campaign.
Last season, he had three pretty minor injuries, which sidelined him for eight matches in total. While his availability is a worry for some, his performances for Leipzig do suggest he would be a good addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
