After another embarrassing defeat against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon, Liverpool supporters have been contemplating the club’s prospects for the rest of the season.
Champions League qualification seems a pretty distant hope at the moment and the club’s next five games against Chelsea, Liverpool, Leeds, Nottingham Forest and West Ham haven’t given fans on Twitter any optimism that the situation will improve any time soon:

The Chelsea match looks to be pivotal. While Jurgen Klopp’s team have been terrible away from home, their next opponents are in crisis.
The Blues lost 2-0 to Aston Villa at the weekend and manager Graham Potter is hanging on to his job. If Liverpool can exploit the negative atmosphere and get the result they need, it could give them an important confidence boost.
However, with the way things have been going recently, it’s hard to predict how the Reds will fare. We shall see how things go on Tuesday night.
