Liverpool have made “first contact” with the representatives of Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount, according to journalist Rudy Galetti.
The Italian reporter also claims the Reds are interested in Brighton’s Moises Caicedo, West Ham’s Declan Rice and Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic:

While the links to Mount, Caicedo and, to some extent, Rice are nothing new, the interest in Milinkovic-Savic is a fresh development.
The Serbian international is closing in on the final year of his contract and Lazio are expected to cash in at the end of the season if he doesn’t sign a new deal.
Arsenal, Newcastle and West Ham have been credited with an interest in Milinkovic-Savic but you do question whether he would be a serious target for Liverpool. He is now 28 years of age and you would think the Reds would be targeting younger players, considering their problems in midfield this campaign.
Out of the four options mentioned by Galetti, though, he would be the cheapest due to his contract situation so that could be why his name has entered the mix.
