Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he is glad to have some big selection decisions ahead of tomorrow’s match against Brighton.
Alisson Becker is expected to start in goal, with Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson as the two fullbacks. Ibrahima Konate could keep his place ahead of Joel Matip in the centre of defence, alongside Virgil van Dijk.
Klopp confirmed that Fabinho and Thiago are not available, but Naby Keita should be fit, despite being on the receiving end of a rough challenge against Manchester United last weekend. The Guinean could, therefore, start in midfield alongside captain Jordan Henderson and Curtis Jones.
Sadio Mane did not start against United, and he didn’t feature in the Carabao Cup during the week. However, he could replace Diogo Jota in the lineup tomorrow, with Robert Firmino and Mo Salah making up the rest of the front three.
Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play Brighton:
Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, van Dijk, Robertson, Keita, Henderson, Jones, Salah, Firmino, Mane
