Klopp Expected To Recall Two Liverpool Players To Starting Line Up Against Watford

Anfield Stadium

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will recall both Trent Alexander-Arnold and Naby Keita for the game against Watford, according to reports in the local media.

The pair were relegated to the bench against Manchester United on Sunday as the Reds opted for experience to get them through the game at Old Trafford.

However, the absence of Alexander-Arnold was keenly felt. James Milner was given right-back duties but, despite being given a lot of the ball, he failed to produce any good deliveries into the United box.

In midfield, Klopp effectively went with three holding midfield players, with Keita unlucky to miss out after an upturn in form in recent weeks.

The Guinean will likely slot in ahead of captain Jordan Henderson, who was substituted midway through the second half versus United.

Klopp will also have a decision to make up front with Roberto Firmino unlikely to feature after picking up an ankle injury at the weekend.
