‘Klopp Is Going To Love That!’ ‘Bring It On’ – Liverpool Fans Confident After Champions League Draw Is Made

Liverpool have drawn Bayern Munich in the last 16 of the Champions League which will see manager Jurgen Klopp return to his native Germany.

After finishing runners-up in Group C, it was always going to be a tough draw with only Porto being seemingly weaker opposition.

Fans on Twitter were pretty happy with getting Bayern:

Considering the Reds could have got the likes of Barcelona, Juventus or Real Madrid, the German champions won’t seem as daunting opponents, especially in light of their form in the Bundesliga this season.

Niko Kovac’s side are third in the league table, having already lost three times this campaign, and they currently sit nine points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund.

They have, however, begun to turn things round in recent weeks, having thrashed Hannover 4-0 at the weekend. Virgil van Dijk will also be missing for the first leg at Anfield due to suspesion, but he will be back in contention for the second game away from home.
