Latest Liverpool Injury News: Updates On Henderson, Konate, Keita And Four Other Players

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson suffered a hamstring injury against Newcastle earlier this week, and it has yet to be determined how long he will be out for.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed a muscular problem will keep Ibrahima Konate out until the next international break, while Naby Keita also has a soft tissue injury that may take some time to heal.

Thiago Alcantara is expected to be back in team training next week following a thigh strain, while Caoimhin Kelleher is closing in on a return from a groin problem.

The time frames of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Calvin Ramsay are somewhat less clear. Both players have been sidelined since pre-season, with the former expected to return from a serious hamstring injury sometime next month.

It looks as if the injury crisis is abating somewhat, though, with the likes of Diogo Jota, Curtis Jones and Joel Matip all having returned to full fitness in recent days.
