Latest Liverpool Injury News: Updates On Keita, Matip, Tsimikas And Six Other Players

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed before the Fulham game at Craven Cottage yesterday that midfielder Naby Keita had been sidelined once again due to a fitness issue, with reports indicating the Guinean has a muscular injury.

The Reds suffered another setback when Joel Matip had to come at half-time versus the Cottagers with a back problem. Klopp says he is hoping to have the defender back in contention for the Spurs game on Wednesday after he undergoes treatment.

It has also been confirmed that left-back Kostas Tsimikas will miss the next two months with a knee problem. The Greek international picked up the injury in the 1-1 draw against FC Midtjylland last week, with Diogo Jota having sustained the exact same issue.

Thiago Alcantara (knee), James Milner (hamstring), Virgil van Dijk (knee), Xherdan Shaqiri (muscular) and Joe Gomez (knee) are all still sidelined, meaning Klopp could have up to nine players missing for the crucial clash against Tottenham.
