Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that Dejan Lovren (thigh), Joel Matip (knee) and Fabinho (ankle) are on the mend but none of the three will feature against Leicester City on Boxing Day.

News on Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is slightly better than first feared with ankle ligament damage expected to keep him out for the remainder of 2019. There is, however, no estimated return date for the four players.

Rhian Brewster (ankle) and Nathaniel Clyne (knee) also remain out of contention ahead of the Reds’ trip to the King Power Stadium on Thursday evening.
