Liverpool Add THREE Names To Their List Of Midfield Targets

Liverpool have added Leicester’s Youri Tielemans, Real Sociedad’s Mikel Merino and Napoli’s Piotr Zielinski to their shortlist of targets, according to reports in the Italian media.

While Jude Bellingham remains their priority, the Reds are also keeping tabs on a number of other midfielders across Europe.

Brighton’s Moises Caicedo and Fiorentina’s Sofyan Amrabat are being watched, but Tielemans, Merino and Zielinski are reportedly under consideration too.

Tielemans is out of contract in the summer, and he has been heavily linked with Arsenal, but his availability on a free transfer could make him an attractive option.

Merino has played in the Premier League before, having had a brief spell at Newcastle, and he is a creative player, having contributed seven assists in 15 appearances this season.

Zielinski, meanwhile, has been linked with Liverpool on and off since 2016. West Ham made an approach for the Polish international last year but he remained in Italy. He is, though, within the final eighteen months of his contract.
