Liverpool Could Seal Bargain Deal For Ivorian Ace Who Has Scored 5 Goals In 9 Games This Season

Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha would be open to joining Liverpool on a free transfer next summer, according to reports.

The Ivorian international has had an excellent start to the season, having scored five goals in nine league appearances so far, but he is expected to leave Selhurst Park when his contract expires in June.

A number of Premier League teams, including Chelsea and Arsenal, have been linked with Zaha, but it appears that the 29-year-old is keen on a switch to Anfield.

After losing Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich and selling Takumi Minamino to Monaco, strengthening the left flank is something that manager Jurgen Klopp could consider.

Luis Diaz has done well since arriving from Porto but the Colombian could do with some competition for his place, especially if Diogo Jota plays exclusively as a centre forward next season (with Roberto Firmino set to leave). The Reds don’t usually sign players who are close to 30 but they may make an exception for Zaha who won’t cost a transfer fee.
