Liverpool Handed Major Boost As £80m Target Sees Club As ‘More Attractive’ Than United

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho would find Liverpool a “more attractive option” than Manchester United if the Merseyside club were involved in the battle to sign him, according to the Independent.

The Reds are said to be monitoring the 20-year-old and the player is also believed to be aware that the Premier League leaders are keen on signing him.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has in fact told Sancho personally that he admires him as a player, but Dortmund’s price tag may prove a major stumbling block in bringing him to Anfield.

The Bundesliga side are reportedly demanding at least £80m, leaving United and Real Madrid as the two favourites for the winger.

Liverpool could well push the boat out for Sancho were the Red Devils to miss out on the Champions League and the player hesitated over a big move to the Bernabeu.

After missing out on Timo Werner to Chelsea, the likelihood of a bid for the Dortmund star has now increased, although it does still appear to be an unlikely signing at this point in time.
