Liverpool are keeping tabs on Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez, according to Fichajes.net. The Spanish website claims that the Reds, along with Juventus and Borussia Dortmund, have added the Colombian international to their shortlist of targets for the January transfer window.

All three clubs currently having issues at centre-back and with Sanchez reportedly keen on leaving Spurs in search of game time, it appears that he could be offloaded for the right price next month.

Sanchez has fallen down the pecking order since arriving from Ajax for £42m over three years ago, with manager Jose Mourinho having preferred the centre-half partnership of Eric Dier and Toby Alderweireld this season.

With the Colombian still only 24 years of age, and with experience of playing at the highest level, it would not be a surprise if Liverpool are tracking the defender.

Whether Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would be open to selling a player to a potential title rival, though, is another matter entirely.
