Liverpool and two other Premier League clubs have “all made overtures” to the family of AC Milan teenage sensation Francesco Camarda, according to 90min.com.

The website claims that Chelsea and Manchester City have also joined the race to sign the 15-year-old, who became the youngest player in the history of Serie A when he came on as a substitute against Fiorentina at the weekend.

With the Rossoneri going through an injury crisis, manager Stefano Pioli opted to call up the striker, who had scored 7 goals in his first 13 appearances for the Under 19s this campaign.

The teenager had been particularly impressive in the UEFA Youth League, where he had scored against Newcastle and Paris Saint-Germain during the group stages.

That form saw Camarda get selected in the senior squad for the first time versus Fiorentina and he played the final 10 minutes as Milan saw out the match to seal a narrow 1-0 home win.

Liverpool will have a lot of competition for Camarda’s signature

With the forward having not yet signed a professional contract, the Italian is unsurprisingly attracting a lot of interest from teams across Europe.

In addition to the Reds, and the other two Premier League sides mentioned, 90min report that Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and PSG are keeping close tabs on Camarda’s progress.

What is Camarda’s stance on leaving Milan?

It is believed that the youngster would be happy to stay at San Siro if he had a choice. With that being the case, the Rossoneri are currently confident that he will commit his long-term future to the Serie A club by signing a new deal.

Camarda can, however, only officially put pen to paper when he turns 16 in March so there will continue to be speculation about a potential transfer until then.
