Liverpool have ‘set their sights” on Lille centre-back Leny Yoro, according to Le 10 Sport.
The French publication reports that the Reds have joined the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City in tracking the 18-year-old.
Most fans on X are delighted that Yoro is on the Merseyside club’s radar, with many believing that he has a very bright future in the game. However, a few are not so enthusiastic:

Yoro is already a regular starter for Lille
The defender actually made his senior debut in May 2022 but he has been gradually incorporated into the first team setup over the last 18 months.
Even so, Yoro has started 13 league matches so far this season despite the fact that he only turned 18 in November.
Liverpool will face stiff competition for the Frenchman’s services
As mentioned already, the two Manchester clubs are said to be watching the teenager, but it is also believed that Chelsea could make a move for the player.
90min.com reported in October that the Blues may contemplate signing the Yoro before sending him back on loan.
With his contract set to expire in 2025, Lille won’t be able to hold out for a significant sum for the centre-half so there could be a fierce battle for his signature.
