Liverpool are one of the clubs interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt forward Omar Marmoush, according to Sport Bild (via Fussballtransfers.com).
After a successful season which has seen the 25-year-old score 15 goals in all competitions, Frankfurt are hoping to sell him for a club record fee between €50m (£43m) and €60m (£51m).
Supporters on X are split on whether it is worth investing a significant amount of money in Marmoush:

Marmoush could be a replacement for either Diaz or Gakpo
The Egyptian international is comfortable playing right across the front three. He has spent most of this season as a centre-forward but he can play in wider areas.
With Paris Saint-Germain being heavily linked with Luiz Diaz, and Cody Gakpo struggling for form, Liverpool’s recruitment department may have looked at Marmoush as a possible option if either player leaves Anfield this summer.
Liverpool will have competition for the forward
Sport Bild claim that Arsenal, Newcastle and Tottenham are also weighing up bids for the Frankfurt star, which means the Bundesliga club may stand a good chance of maintaining their current asking price.
It is however debatable whether Liverpool would be prepared to make a move for Marmoush unless his valuation drops. There are better options on the market who could be signed for a similar fee.
